Random Acts of Fun: Downtown Block Parties in Highland Park on Raritan Avenue every other Thursday night on a different block: (visit www.mainstreethp.org for more information)

Harry Potter Party
 Thursday, July 19th (5-8pm)
 (Third to Fourth Avenues)

 Prizes for kids and teens dressed in Harry Potter costumes. Open mic: singers, musicians, comedians, and poets- all levels. Musicians: The Noisy Neighbors and The Helen Ahn Trio.

 By the Sea
 Thursday, August 2 (5-8pm)
 (Fourth to Ninth Avenues)

 Water and sand activities, teen events at Library. Prizes for kids and teens dressed in beach gear. Entertainment: Billy, John Bianculli Jazz Trio, Dorot Israeli Folk Dance Troupe, Pete Horvath, and The Klezmer Simcha Orchestra.
