Community Plan > Our Objectives
The Green Community Plan’s Objectives are meant to specifically describe the things we want to achieve in our community within the Plan’s five larger goals, Healthy Environment, Healthy People, Strong Community, Convenient Transportation, and Fairness & Equity.
Objective statements provide us with clearer picture of what a sustainable and “green” Highland Park will look like and the qualities we would like our community to have. Objectives also serve to help us create and implement meaningful actions and strategies for achieving the goals outlined in the Green Community Plan.
